IMPORTANT
INFORMATION
All
those making use of the bus transport from OR Tambo on
Sunday 14th please note the following:
Please make
your way to the information desk opposite domestic arrivals
(inside the airport building) . Tebogo Ramorei will be
there to greet you and will direct you to the bus. She
will be stationed at the information desk from 09h00 till
10h45 with a sign reading "ASSWA 2012 Conference". Tebogo's
mobile number, should you have difficulty in finding her, is
082 318 2711.
The bus
will go directly to Ingwenyama for registration. There
will be tea/coffee available on your arrival.
Registration
begins at 15h00 at Ingwenyama Conference Centre

Leave
JHB via the east rand heading towards witbank N12. Once on
the highway, you will pass the following towns after
Witbank: (Middelburg, Belfast and Machadadorp). Once
through the Macadadorp tollgate, look out for the turn off
to Nelspruit via Schoemanskloof. Follow the road until
your reach Nelspruit. Once in Nelspruit turn left at the
four way stop which is the R40 (Whiteriver/Kruger
International airport) . Carry
on towards Whiteriver, past rocky’s drift. Before
Whiteriver town, you will find a board on your left for
Ingwenyama
where
you will be turning right. Follow signs to
Ingwenyama Lodge.

Speaker - Professor Abye Tasse
ASSWA
is pleased that Professor Abye Tasse has agreed to be the
keynote speaker. Professor Tasse has been the key driver
behind the Global Agenda that has been adopted by IASSW, IFSW
and ICSW. We are fortunate that we will be able to hear
him speak on the importance of the Global Agenda for the
Africa region and the strategies that we can adopt in
furthering the Global Agenda on the continent.

Please take note
of the below information pertaining to Bus transport to and
from OR Tambo International Airport and the Conference Venue
and transfers from Kruger Mpumalanga International airport
There will be
transport departing from OR Tambo International Airport
(Johannesburg) on the 14th October 2012 at 10h00, returning to
OR Tambo International Airport (Johannesburg) on the 17th
October 2012 at +/- 15h00 (leaving the conference venue at 10h00).
Please note that this is a +/- 5 hour trip so please allow
sufficient time when booking flights - the bus will depart
promptly at above times. Please take careful note of the
approximate return time on the 17th and be sure to book your
flights accordingly. Delegates must be at the
designated pick up points timeously as the bus will leave
promptly and will unfortunately not be able to wait for
delegates who arrive late. Those who arrive late for
whatever reason will need to arrange their own transport to and
from the conference venue. There
will be no arranged transport from the Kruger Mpumalanga
International Airport (MQP) in Nelspruit. Delegates flying
direct to Nelspruit are to contact the designated shuttle
company directly to arrange for airport transfers : ECoaches
